The North Dodogne is very green and known as Le Périgord Vert
Forests,hills,lakes,rivers and rocks provide a lot of natural activities. From the campsite there are several routes and pathways for cycling and walking. Microlight flights to view the beautiful surroundings from the air, can also be arranged for our visitors. A number of farms in the area can be visited where there are activities for both adults and children.
The Dordogne has a lot of culture and history. There is a lot to discover!
Périgueux, Bergerac, Sarlat and Cognac have also a rich culture and history.
You can visit the botanic garden of Brantôme,'Alaije'.
There is a truffel museum in Sorges, and several water mills in the area where you can learn how to make flour and walnut oil.
Brantôme "la Venise de Périgord" has a Benedictine abbey.
Bourdeilles , Puyguilhem, Hautefort have beautiful castels.
Prehistoricl caves at Villars, and the famous caves of Lascaux.
